Week-long art classes tailored for students to engage their creativity and art making skills. Each week students explore a theme through a variety of art projects. Each student works in their own unique artistic style building self-confidence in a fun and creative environment. We have new creative projects every summer!!!

Classes will run Monday-Friday, during these weeks:

July 7-11; 10am-12pm: Painting with Miss Julie (Ages 5-10)- NEW PROJECTS! Explore different types of paint including watercolor, tempera, and acrylic and make creative projects on canvas, paper, and other surfaces. ($155.00, includes all supplies)

July 7-11; 10am-12pm: Lego Animation with Keville (ages 9-15) - Students learn to script and animate a short movie using Legos. We provide expert instruction while students work using their own tablets or smart phones, and a free animation app, creating an entertaining stop motion movie. We provide materials to build backdrops and environments and script writing outlines and storyboards. We even provide a Lego animation clear stick to create leaps and jumps! Then using their own Lego sets, students learn to create smooth animations and edit their movies. They also learn how to add sound to enhance their animations! Students share their work and interact during classes, and creativity is encouraged in a fun and supportive environment.

Requirement: Students must have their own tablet or smart phone with the animation app, and their own sets of Lego ($155.00, includes all supplies)

July 14-18; 10am-12pm: Beach & Ocean Art with Miss Julie (ages 5-10) - Be inspired by Summer fun and create art in all kinds of materials featuring the beach and oceans and all creature that live there. Make canvas paintings, watercolor paintings, drawings, and sculptures of sunsets, fish, beachy fun and more! ($155.00, includes all supplies)

July 14-18; 9:30am-12:30 pm: Sewing & Embroidery with Miss Laura (Ages 9-15) Learn the basics of sewing with a needle and thread, and how to start and create embroidery projects. Be creative with fabric and stitches and express yourself in a new material! ($175.00, includes all supplies)

July 21-25; 10am-12pm: Drawing with Miss V (ages 5-10)- Learn about drawing materials and techniques with pencils, pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, and more! Miss V will lead students through some guided drawings to learn new materials and techniques, then students will be able to choose their own subjects. ($155.00, includes all supplies)

July 28- Aug 1; 10am-12pm: Ceramics & Sculpture with Miss V (ages 5-10)- This week students work with a variety of sculpture materials with instruction on building with air-dry clay, model magic, wood, cardboard, and more! After projects are built students will paint them further expanding their creative skills. We will start the week with a ceramic project, which will then be fired and glazed later in the week. This project may need to be picked up the following week. ($175.00, includes all supplies)

July 28- August 1, 9:30am-12:30pm: Zen Art with Miss Laura (ages 9-15) Learn the art of Zentangle, and meditative drawing during this relaxing week of creativity. Create mandalas, nuerographic art, pointillism, and sensory art all week long with a variety of materials. ($175.00, includes all supplies)

August 4-8, 10am-12pm Block Craft Week with Miss V (ages 5-10) Based on the popular mining and crafting game, create projects about creepers, ores, and other game elements using a variety of art materials. We will start the week with a ceramic project, which will then be fired and glazed later in the week. This project may need to be picked up the following week. ($155.00, includes all supplies)

August 4-8; 10am-12pm: Comic Book Creator Club with Keville (ages9-15)- Learn the basics of creating comic book stories, then create your own story which we then print and publish in a class comic book containing all the students’ work from the week! One printed Comic Book is included with the course, $5 per additional copies. Students who have taken Comic Book Creator previously can create new stories or continue a story. ($155.00, includes all supplies)

Aug 11-15; 10am-12pm: Ceramics & Sculpture with Miss V (ages 5-10)- This week students work with a variety of sculpture materials with instruction on building with air-dry clay, model magic, wood, cardboard, and more! After projects are built students will paint them further expanding their creative skills. We will start the week with ceramic projects, which will then be fired and glazed later in the week.
